Guildford Lions Firework Festival Returns for a Spectacular Night of Entertainment

The popular Guildford Lions Firework Festival is back, promising an unforgettable evening of live entertainment, spectacular fireworks, and community spirit, all while raising vital funds for local causes.

Every ticket sold helps make a difference. 100% of all profits will be used to support people in need across the local community. This year, alongside supporting the our Welfare Fund, proceeds will help raise knife crime awareness amongst young people through Guildford Shakespeare Company’s Put Up Your Swords programme, a pioneering knife crime awareness initiative using Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet as a powerful educational tool for schools.

Following the success of the programme with Year 9 students from six Surrey schools, the initiative is set to expand across the county in Autumn 2026 through partnerships with Surrey Police, Crimestoppers (Fearless), the University of Surrey, and leading knife crime prevention charities.

"We are proud that our Firework Festival not only brings the community together for a fantastic evening of entertainment, but also supports projects that have a real and lasting impact on local lives."

• Gates Open: 5:00pm
• Live Music: 6:30pm to 8:30pm featuring The Hired Guns, a high-energy party band performing favourites from The Killers, George Ezra, Kings of Leon, Taylor Swift and many more
• Fireworks Display: 8:30pm
