LNY Dumpling Party Ticket Options
The University of Surrey Students' Union (USSU) celebrates Lunar New Year with a dumpling-making party. On Monday, 23rd January, at Youngs Kitchen, we will come together and learn how to make and fold dumplings.
This event is open to all students, faculty, and staff at the University of Surrey. Attendees will learn how to make traditional Chinese dumplings and practice folding the wrappers with the assistance of Young's Kitchen. Everyone will get to enjoy their homemade dumplings as well as being immersed in Chinese culture through decorations, red envelopes(hong bao), and traditional Chinese music.
Lunar New Year is one of the most important celebrations of the year among East and Southeast Asian cultures, including Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean communities around the world.
